Video Games Are Good For You!

A new study finds that playing action videogames changes the brain and improves visual attention.

Researchers had people play either a first-person shooter or a three-dimensional puzzle game.  They gave them brain scans and had them do a visual attention task before and after they played the games.

RESULTS:

Those who played the shooter game had significant changes in their brain waves and showed the greatest improvement on the visual attention task.
